dear friend Morgulis - you cannot cater to all butthurts and to all customs. there are people out there for whom an appearance of a woman without a black bodybag on and a male relative alongside - is an insult to their feelings and beliefs. there are places where YOUR existence itself is an insult. then there are people for whom any rendering of their prophet is punishable by death. are you going to humor them all - put your wife and daughter in a bag, commit suicide as all Jews should, right? - and respect the mohammad non-drawing policy?

i suppose you would not do the first two but would comply with the third - though to any logical mind THEY ARE THE SAME, of the same continuum. so your golden rule is actually showing rust. you either try to be everything to everybody and decimate yourself and your world in that process, or you spend your life disrespecting all sacred cows and not getting homicidal when other people disrespect your own herd.
